Our goal is to accelerate the development and adoption of technology and innovation, working to ensure that important agri-sector issues are addressed at the highest level.
Working with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), the Department for Business and Trade (BDT) and the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). We’re addressing critical challenges and opportunities around sustainability, food security, labour, productivity and disease management. Our External Relations team in agri-tech policy and regulation working across the agriculture, horticulture, aquaculture and forestry sectors, identify strategic opportunities and provide expert guidance.
We support start-ups and organisations of all sizes to find and access relevant funding in support of their growth and innovation strategies through Innovate UK, Defra’s Farming Innovation Programme or other UK Government schemes, plus, regional and international funding opportunities.
In combination with navigating and benefiting from the funding opportunities available, we also support organisations that are looking to advance their R&D in developing, testing, trialing and validating emerging agri-tech solutions by:
